Don’t feel bad most people never heard of this and sadly this pension  was passed  back in 1952!

Every year the VA has over 40 million dollars of unclaimed pension money, which they reallocated to something else.

So what is this pension, and how can you receive it ?

  • Who is it for; Vets or Surviving Spouse , 65 yrs of age or older
  • Vet had to have served minimum 90 days in a war
  • Vet or surviving spouse receiving help from a caregiver at home, or living in an assisted living , or skilled nursing facility and paying for that care out of pocket
  • Cannot have more than $129,000 in net worth ( money in bank, pensions, IRAs, investment, etc.)
  • The annual income amount from (social security, and other liquid assets) needs to be  equal to or more than money paid out of pocket for your care, or the monthly amount you pay to an assisted living or skilled care facility.

WHAT YOU CAN RECEIVE MONTHLY FOR LIFE:

Single Vets: $1800 /mo.  Surviving Spouse $1275/mo.  Vet married $2800/ mo.
